HABB (Hair and Beauty Benevolent) needed a more recognisable name and branding for hairdressers to connect with and promote their newly founded charitable status as The Hairdressers’ Charity.
As a committee member, Emma worked on the strategic framework, creating the marketing strategy to see the charity through the re-brand and into a new era. Tendering out with brand agencies to collate and present the initial designs and costs to the committee for approval. The logo embodied the history of the old benevolent by continuing the colour, the industry with the scissors and charitable status with the heart all in one. The marketing materials followed in quick succession including stationery, brochures, leaflets, exhibition banners and trade publication adverts.
