Remi Cachet designed their last brochure back in 2016, and despite a few tweaks and image refreshes, it was time to say no to a reprint and look at something new. A corporate brochure design refresh was due, or as we tend to think of it, a new do, for the hair makeover brand.
Objective: To create a new mini brochure to be used as a handout at a big industry event
Key considerations for the brief:
– Time-poor stylists need the top line information to gain interest
– A brighter feel and smaller A5 format to take-away
– Luxury feel with paper and print choices
– CTA to push sign-ups for Trade Accounts
Having moved designers and printers, and with an event looming, we knew this project was going to need a fast turnaround. A new photoshoot provided essential new-look model images with bright clothing. This gave the new designers got a chance to showcase their Photoshop skills cutting out hair and using the on-brand pink hue for accessories.
Defining the key messaging and copywriting was down to team Hype. As well as selecting the right images and liaising between all the parties involved to ensure the project came in on time and on budget. The end look was to be more of an editorial feel. Messaging was directed at the stylist, so highlighting the many benefits of joining the Remi Cachet network.
Print worked with a stock 250gsm card and a matt laminate finish to give the brochure that soft touch because the brand’s founder adores it. Print timings were tight, and delivery ended up directly to the site to make the show.
Success: With a 1k print run, most were handed out at the show and additional Trade Applications are continuing to flow in weeks after the event. Most importantly, the client and fellow Remi Cachet team members were all happy with the brochure too.
